DEIB Edutainment™

Having the competencies necessary to successfully navigate our increasingly multicultural society is imperative in places where we work, live, serve and socialize. In a polarized society, our ability to shape a positive future will be determined not only by how we support, trust, and collaborate with those with whom we agree… but by how we understand, treat, and work with those with whom we disagree. GTW’s DEIB Edutainment™ teaches multicultural living competencies through the transformative power of the arts—theater, film, comedy, dance and visual arts. It aims to sharpen thinking, challenge assumptions, expand world views, enlighten and inspire each other to create a society that works for everyone.

Women’s Social Trust Movement

Bridging & Bonding Conversations and Retreats are open to all those for whom “woman” is a meaningful identifier or experience, including but not limited to cisgender women, gay women, transgender women, and non-binary individuals.

Bridging and Bonding Conversations are strategic dialogue sessions designed to heighten awareness about racial equity issues that matter while strengthening gender solidarity.

Bridging and Bonding Women’s Social Trust Retreats are learning communities that explore innovative strategies for living within the duality of race and gender. Participants develop the necessary competencies for our individual and collective work of racial equity. These weekend retreats aim to enhance social trust as a foundational aspect of a strong coalition of women invested in gender solidarity to advance racial equity.

Words Create Worlds

Language represents our thinking and words create worlds. To “get to we” and move to a relational model of understanding the dynamics of differences requires changing the narrative that will lead us to new ways of knowing and being. To do that, GTW offers a curated Read, Watch, Listen List of books, media, and podcasts, our annual GTW Books and our Becoming Better Humans Speaker Series—all of these resources are aligned with a contemporary understanding of differences.

GTW annually amplifies the voices of writers of books, essays, screen plays, and poetry whose message is aligned with the mission, vision, and values of GTW with a prestigious Words Create Worlds Award. Nominate a writer for this award here.
