Learning Burst Modules
We live in a world that is more connected than ever and yet, genuine human connection can feel harder and harder to come by. At Getting to We, we believe that turning “us and them” into WE isn’t just a nice idea, it’s a practice. And like any skill worth developing, it begins with the right mindset.
That’s what these learning modules are all about.
These six modules will walk you through the mindset and skillsets needed to navigate our beautifully complex, wonderfully diverse, and sometimes frustratingly divided world with more curiosity, compassion, and confidence. Whether you’re coming to this as an individual learner or as part of an organizational team, you are in the right place. This is discovery work, and discovery is always worth the time.

A Few Things to Know Before You Begin
Learning Burst Modules are short, focused, and interactive digital learning units designed to fit into your real life without overwhelming it. Depending on your individual learning style, how deeply you engage with the reflection questions, and the pace that works best for you, working through all six modules could take anywhere from 1.5 to 3 hours.
The modules are designed to build on each other, so we recommend working through them in order. That said, each module can also stand on its own so if you need to jump around or revisit a specific topic, go right ahead.
You can take the modules on your own or alongside your organizational team. Both approaches are valuable, and team learning can spark some rich conversations.
Most importantly: enjoy the process! This is an exciting discovery journey. Come with an open mind, bring your whole self, and have fun learning.
Me to We Learning Modules
Module 1: Introducing a Me to We Mindset
A Me to We Mindset is the belief that as fellow human beings we are inextricably linked. Because of our common humanity, we have an obligation to treat everyone with dignity and respect and share the planet’s resources in the wisest, inclusive, and most effective manner toward the benefit of all. We develop a Me to We Mindset by practicing four Me To We Skillsets incorporated in all of Getting To We’s initiatives:
Module 2: Holding Multiple Realities, Identities, and Perspectives
Holding Multiple Identities, Perspectives and Realities allows us to navigate successfully our increasingly multicultural, multiracial society.
Module 3: Connecting Intention and Impact
Connecting Intention and Impact allows us to communicate effectively across differences./
Module 4: Moving From Certainty to Curiosity
Moving from Certainty to Curiosity allows us to blow past stereotypes and widen our worldview.
Module 5: Using Social Privilege for Mutual Benefit
Using Social Privilege for Mutual Benefit allows us to manage the dynamics of human differences in our daily interactions, create peaceful communities, and build high-performing, inclusive organizations.z
Module 6: Me to We Mindset Summary
As you close out your Me to We learning journey, we’ve highlighted the essential information presented in the modules. Your thoughtful feedback is also a way to summarize your learning, reflect on your journey, and share your insights. Completing this module helps us continuously improve and continue to create impactful experiences for future learners in our Getting To We community.
